Traffic near the 190-mile marker on I-26 was at a near standstill for several hours the morning of Aug. 9. State transportation officials rerouted traffic through to bypass the running waters on a section of Dorchester County interstate. Rain from overnight prompted the closure neat the Cypress Campground overpass.
